When Jesus started His ministry on Earth, we see healing and miracle power
behind His spoken Word.
God the Son (Jesus) spoke, and people were healed with a “Word.”
He spoke and people were delivered of evil spirits.
Matthew 8:16 NKJV 16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many
who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word and
healed all who were sick.
He spoke and miracles happened.
Jesus said in John 14:12 NKJV 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who
believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than
these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
As an Evangelist, one of my missions is to equip God’s people for ministry
(Eph 4:12), to build up the people of the Church, the body of Christ. I do
that by showing some of the works of Jesus and encouraging the reader how
to do the same as He did.
One of the works of Jesus was to speak a WORD and people were healed of
diseases, demons left, or situations in their lives would change. My goal in
this book is to bring the reader into that knowledge and to challenge them, in
doing the same works as Jesus did by speaking words.
With our words we can speak blessings or curses to ourselves and others. The
writer instructs the reader to alter their speech, for power goes out of their
mouths to accomplish what they have spoken. Words can set the course of a
person’s life (James 3:6-10).
Jesus taught us to speak to the issues of our lives in a command (Mk 11:23),
“BE REMOVED.” The writer gives many other examples as to commanding
the issues, the enemies of our lives, the mountains, to be removed. If you
are a believer in Jesus, your words have authority and power over the enemy
(Luke 10:19), power to heal and power to remove mountains in your life. In
Part 2 the writer lists some reasons why prayers are not answered. At the end
of the book, deliverance from demons is offered to you, the reader, that may
have prevented you from doing the works of Jesus.
